This article is about the role of E-health in changing the healthcareenvironment. The authors have been working in the wellnessenvironments Jeffrey is an assistant professor in the department ofpublic health while Angela is a wellness director. Their positionsqualify them to write an article on health related issues hence thearticle is reliable (Jeffrey &amp Angela, 2006).

The authors argue that there has been rapid increase in the role ofinternet in information accessibility within the health careenvironment. According to them, over 50 percent of patients are ableto access information through the internet and can easily communicatewith their physicians.

The information contained in this article was not conducted directlyby the authors. They used the analytics from HealthcareInformation and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) to access the 2005database. This implies that the research was secondary in nature. However, to make the article credible, references for the data werequoted extensively any borrowed data and information.

The logic for the article is clear and thismakes it easier first time readers and even those who are notpracticing nursing to understand the context. For instance, theauthors started by give an executive summary that introduced thetopic and gave a summary of the article. This is followed byintroduction section where the authors give the background of theresearch topic, definition of E-health, pros and cons of E-health andfuture developments and implications in E-Health. Nevertheless, thearticle lacks a concrete conclusion. It is imperative for theauthor(s) to ensure that their paper is concluded in a manner thateither calls for the adoption of their idea, recommend the conceptthat was being investigated or give a brief summary of theirresearch. This is lacking in the current paper.

This article presented an in-depth research. For most sections, it was written and organized well. Though thearticle lacks the touch of ‘primary research’ as it usedsecondary data from other sources, its findings are critical in thefield of internet usage in nursing environment(Gerald, Detlev, &amp Donna, 2012).
