Jessica

Jessicadiscussed the concept of best practices in the context of healthpractices. I agree with Jessica on the idea that evidence-basedpractice is based on scientific findings that are used to inform theprocess of making clinical decisions. This is because scientificresearch results in the identification of empirical evidence thatjustify different therapeutic procedures and help health careprofessionals make objective decisions (Law &amp MacDermid, 2014).In addition, I agree with Jessica that evidence-based practicesresult in the delivery of quality care and enhance the effectivenessof the treatment interventions. This is because the type of evidenceobtained from scientific research help health care professionalsapplies facts to inform their practices instead of using trial anderror methods when delivering health care to their clients (Law &ampMacDermid, 2014). Therefore, evidence based practice is the mostreliable approach that ensures that health care approaches deliverservices that meet the needs of clients.

Primrose

Primroseaddressed a workplace situation that required the application ofleadership style and skills to come up with the viable solution.Primrose’s first reaction that involved asking the speech therapistif he was mad is an indication of how the personality of anindividual leader can affect the effectiveness of the leader indelivering services and interacting with the followers. A negativepersonality results in poor interaction with followers andjeopardizes the process of service delivery. I agree with Primrosethat integrating the suggestions of stakeholders is an effectiveapproach that can help leaders be effective and work well withfollowers. Including the suggestions of other people is among the keyfeatures of a participative style of leadership (Dunbar &ampWinston, 2015). A participative leader empowers followers andintegrates their opinions when making decisions.
