The second top-most executive is the vice president andcurrently the position is held by Jejomar Binay. In Philippine, theVice President succeeds the president in case the latter isincapacitated such as through resignation, impeachment or death.However, in case the position of the Vice President becomes vacant,the president has to appoint one of the members of the Congressalthough the person has to receive a 75% Congress support.
